Privacy Policy

1. Summary

Prime Factors is a mathematics utility developed by OFAPPS / Octavian Fometescu. The app provides mathematical tools such as prime factorization, prime-number utilities, fractions, number-base conversion, averages, GCD/LCM, the Sieve of Eratosthenes and matrices.

2. Information handled by the app

Mathematical input and calculations

Values you enter into the mathematical tools are used only to perform the requested calculations. Prime Factors does not send those mathematical inputs to an OFAPPS server and does not require an online account for calculations.

Local app data

The app may store limited technical preferences or local state on your device so that the interface can operate correctly. Where Android device backup is enabled, Android or your device provider may include eligible application data in a device backup according to your operating-system settings. OFAPPS does not receive that backup.

Network access

The app uses Internet and network-state access for third-party services such as advertising and, where applicable, Google Play purchase-status verification. Core mathematical calculations are designed to work locally.

3. Advertising and Google Mobile Ads

For users who are eligible to receive advertising, Prime Factors uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Ads may also be delivered through advertising, mediation or bidding partners made available through Google's advertising services.

According to Google's documentation, the Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process or share data such as:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate a general location;
• device and app identifiers, including advertising-related identifiers when available;
• app and ad interaction information, such as app launches, taps and ad interactions;
• diagnostic and performance information;
• information used for advertising, analytics, security and fraud prevention.

The exact use of advertising identifiers and personalized advertising can depend on your device, region, consent choices, Google settings and applicable law.

4. Existing ad-free purchase verification

Some long-time users previously purchased the one-time product prime_adsfree1. New purchases of this product are not offered by the current version of the app.

The app may communicate with Google Play Billing to determine whether the Google Play account currently using the app owns this legacy entitlement. This check is used only to decide whether advertising should be disabled.

Payment information such as card numbers is handled by Google Play and is not provided to OFAPPS. Prime Factors does not maintain its own payment database.

Google Play's handling of account and purchase information is governed by Google's own privacy terms: Google Privacy Policy.

5. Sharing of information

OFAPPS does not sell your personal information. The app does not transmit your mathematical inputs to an OFAPPS backend.

Information may nevertheless be processed by third-party service providers used by the app, principally:

• Google Mobile Ads / advertising partners — for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, security and fraud prevention;
• Google Play — for app distribution and legacy purchase-entitlement verification.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because Prime Factors does not provide an OFAPPS user account or send your mathematical calculations to an OFAPPS server, OFAPPS generally has no server-side calculation history or personal profile to delete.

Local app data can be removed by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or by uninstalling the app. Device backups are controlled through your Android / Google device-backup settings.

Data processed independently by Google or advertising providers is subject to those providers' retention and deletion practices. You can manage many Google privacy and advertising settings through your Google account and Android device settings.

7. Security

We aim to minimize the amount of information handled by the app. Mathematical calculations are performed locally where possible. Third-party network services use their own security mechanisms; Google states that data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but the app is designed to avoid collecting personal information that is not needed for its core functionality.

8. Children's privacy

Prime Factors is a general-purpose mathematics utility and does not require users to provide personal information directly to OFAPPS. We do not knowingly ask children to create profiles or submit personal contact information through the app.

Advertising services may be subject to additional age, regional and consent requirements. Parents or guardians can also use Android and Google account controls to manage advertising and privacy settings on a child's device.

9. Your privacy choices

Depending on your device and region, you may be able to:

• reset or delete your Android advertising ID;
• manage ad-personalization and privacy choices in your Google account or device settings;
• clear Prime Factors app data;
• uninstall the app;
• contact OFAPPS with a privacy question or request.

For information controlled directly by Google, requests may need to be made through Google's privacy tools.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated when the app's features, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
